Privacy Policy
How PickATrend handles photos, generation, payments, private links and privacy requests.
Who handles your information and why
PickATrend is the operating brand responsible for this service. Contact support@zombieaicouple.org, identifying PickATrend, for privacy questions or requests. We process information to create and deliver requested videos, authorize private access, reconcile payment and refunds, handle support, protect the service and meet legal obligations.
Where applicable, processing relies on performing the service contract, your consent, legitimate interests in service security and administration, or legal obligations. Do not submit children’s images, sensitive documents, intimate content or images you lack permission to process.
Information used by the service
We receive your submitted photo or photos, template and format choices, permission confirmation, order identifiers and status, timestamps, generation references and payment or refund references. Selecting a photo alone displays it locally in the browser. Submitting the creation form uploads it and creates an unpaid order before checkout.
No user account or recovery email registration is required or provided. Stripe may request contact or billing information in its own checkout. If you email support, we receive your address and what you send to handle that request; this does not sign you up for marketing or make your email an order-access credential. Infrastructure and payment providers may process IP addresses, request logs and technical information for delivery, security and their obligations.
Hosting, generation and payment providers
Cloudflare supplies hosting, private media storage and order-data infrastructure. SeeAPI processes the reference images and fixed template instructions to generate the requested video. Stripe processes payment through hosted checkout; PickATrend does not receive your complete card number.
These providers may process information in other countries under their own terms, privacy policies and applicable safeguards. Their storage, logs, backups and deletion schedules are separate from the service-side media windows below. We do not promise immediate erasure across provider systems or assert a universal provider training exclusion. Review those providers’ policies before submitting sensitive material.
Media retention and deletion
Submitted source images have a 24-hour retention window from order creation. At that deadline they stop being available through the service’s generation-input links and are scheduled for deletion. Unpaid orders also expire after 24 hours from creation. Scheduled cleanup may run after the deadline; expiry is not a promise of instantaneous physical erasure.
A successfully completed video remains available for seven days after successful completion, not payment. The order page shows its availability deadline. After expiry, access ends and the stored result is scheduled for deletion. Download immediately and keep your own copy. Expired or deleted media cannot be restored.
The authorized private order page offers deletion of available service-side source and result media. Deletion does not erase copies already downloaded or shared, undo provider processing, or cancel a payment by itself. Order, consent, payment and refund records may remain as necessary for administration, security, disputes and legal obligations; they are not video backups. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and meet legal obligations.
Private links and browser storage
A full private order link carries an access token in its #token fragment. The browser uses that token to authorize order requests. Anyone holding it may access the order, so keep it private. Do not put tokens or private order pages in public posts or support screenshots.
My orders uses browser localStorage for a minimal order ID and token, not photo bytes or an email-based account. Saved entries work in the same browser profile on the same domain while storage remains available. Clearing data, private browsing, blocked storage or changing device can remove this convenience. Save your own complete link before checkout. Forgetting a saved link removes the browser entry, not server-held media; clearing browser data is not a server deletion request.
Publicity and analytics
Uploading a photo is not consent to feature that photo or its result in our public catalogue. We do not sell your submitted photos. We share information with providers as needed for service delivery, payment, security, legal obligations and valid legal requests, not as an unrestricted permission to publicize your images.
Where enabled, Plausible analytics at app.pageview.app is used for aggregate public-page measurement without analytics cookies. Private order pages and My orders are excluded. Analytics must not receive photos, contact emails, order IDs, private tokens or private links; public-page measurement excludes query strings and fragments. Stripe and other provider sites have their own privacy and cookie practices.
Your choices, rights and security
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent or complain to a data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not invalidate earlier lawful processing. Some records must remain for legal obligations or legitimate dispute handling; deletion may prevent further delivery.
Send privacy requests to support@zombieaicouple.org with PickATrend in the subject and enough detail to locate the relevant matter. We may require proportionate verification. A payment receipt can help investigate a payment, but does not itself authorize release of private media or reconstruct a missing access token.
We use restricted access and HTTPS protections, but no system is absolutely secure. Keep private links and downloaded files secure. Changes to this policy will be published here and will not remove accrued statutory rights or existing legal obligations.
